THE EFFECTS OF JOB ROTATION ON ORGANIZATIONAL PRODUCTIVITY (A CASE STUDY OF RIVOC NIG. PLC, PORT HARCOURT)

ABSTRACT
The effects of job rotation on organizational productivity in different work environment have in recent time attracted the attention of management researchers. The study is intended to add to the stock of interaction by determining the procedure in assessing the effect of job rotation on organizational productivity for workers in various organization, the attendance consequence attached to this, range from the problem of industrial conflict, workers lone morale which lead to lone organizational productivity in organization . Also, lack of adequate machinery towards the proper implementation of job rotation to increase productivity in the organization. A simple random sampling technique was adopted in selecting the simple size. The research used the questionnaire approach in gathering relevant data because of its flexibility. 73 questionnaires were properly attended and returned for analysis shows that effective resources management has a significant effect on organizational productivity in the organization. In all, the finding show that if the job of an organization is organized in a formulized and structure manner, there will be increase in organization morale and also in increase in productivity.
